2. Quotes and Pricing
Our quoting and pricing practices are as follows:
- Free Inspections: We provide free on-site roof inspections with no call-out fee and no obligation across the Perth metro area.
- Fixed Quotes: All quotes are provided in writing and are fixed-price. The quoted amount is the amount you pay unless additional work is identified and agreed upon in writing.
- Quote Validity: Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated in writing.
- Additional Work: If during the course of agreed-upon repairs, additional issues are discovered that were not visible during the initial inspection, we will notify you immediately and provide a revised quote. Additional work will only proceed with your written or verbal consent.
- Payment Terms: Payment is due upon completion of the work unless alternative arrangements have been agreed upon in writing. We accept bank transfer, credit card, and cash.
- GST: All quoted prices include GST unless otherwise specified.
3. Workmanship Guarantee
We stand behind the quality of our work:
- Guarantee Period: All repairs performed by Roof Repairs Perth are covered by our workmanship guarantee. The specific duration of the guarantee will be outlined in your quote or invoice.
- Coverage: The workmanship guarantee covers defects in our labour and installation. It does not cover damage caused by extreme weather events, acts of God, third-party interference, or normal wear and tear of materials.
- Materials: Where applicable, manufacturer warranties on materials (e.g., Colorbond gutters, roofing tiles) are passed through to you. Warranty details will be provided with your invoice.

4. Scheduling and Access
- Appointments: We will schedule work at a mutually agreed date and time. We aim to provide same-day inspections during business hours (Monday to Friday, 7am-5pm AWST).
- Property Access: You must ensure safe and reasonable access to the roof and relevant areas of your property on the agreed date. If access is restricted or unsafe, we reserve the right to reschedule.
- Weather Delays: Roof repair work is weather-dependent. In the event of rain, high winds, or other unsafe conditions, we may need to reschedule. We will notify you as early as possible and arrange the next available date at no additional cost.
5. Cancellation Policy
- By You: You may cancel a scheduled service with at least 24 hours' notice without penalty. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee to cover preparation and scheduling costs.
- By Us: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule services due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will notify you promptly and reschedule at the earliest mutually convenient time.
- Refunds: If you have made a deposit or prepayment and choose to cancel before work commences, a full refund will be issued. Once work has commenced, refunds will be assessed on a case-by-case basis based on the work completed.
6. Client Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and complete information about your roofing issue and property.
- Ensure the work area is accessible and free from obstructions on the day of service.
- Inform us of any known hazards, including asbestos, electrical wiring near the roof, or structural concerns.
- Obtain any necessary council approvals or permits for major works. We can advise on whether permits are required but obtaining them is your responsibility.
- Move vehicles, outdoor furniture, or other items away from the work area to prevent damage from falling debris.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
- We are not liable for pre-existing roof conditions, structural defects, or damage caused by third parties, pests, extreme weather, or acts of God occurring after our repair work.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy conferred on you by the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010) or any other applicable law that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified by agreement.
8. Insurance
Roof Repairs Perth maintains comprehensive public liability insurance and workers' compensation insurance. Proof of insurance can be provided upon request. All tradespeople working on your property are covered under our insurance policies.
